The design of this house was made in 1990: a rough sketch on a US-letter sized sheet of paper and suggested 'ingredients' was enough, the meaning was clear. The Treasure Trove Hunter's House was exhibited the same year during a big group-exhibition in Groningen. People could either enter the house and sit and look around, or could climb the ladder to the second floor (and sit and enjoy a drink). The house smelled good because of some tarred artifacts and dead bird's wings. The design was redrawn by an architect in 1996. Subsequently the house could be bought via real estate agents Hoogland & Versteegh. © MPD Export v.o.f. 1995-2005 |
