Click on the image above for next page The materials used in The Slop are simple and cheap: they do not have to be exposed to harsh conditions like monsoons. Swedish firm IKEA ships it's goods in an abundance of card board. The Slop is the perfect solution for dealing with that waste. Several other materials used herein are pre-fab and standarized, like the windows, size DIN A4, which actually are covers for brochures and folders. No plan is being used before and during construction of The Slop. Is this then conceptual art, one could argue? The Slop: sizes and dimensions may vary. |
